Accurately Line Up Frameless Shower Doors and Panels for a Perfect Reveal

The Problem: When installing a frameless shower door next to an inline panel it can be challenging to get them lined up properly. A clamp can be used to hold the panels in alignment, but this solution often blocks the installers view of the gap and prohibits the adjustments that are necessary to get the job done.

The Solution: The Whitlock Clip is a tool that makes lining up the frameless door with the fixed panel fast and easy. The tool is small enough to fit in a pocket and allows the installer to see the corners of both panel to insure they are at the same height. The Whitlock Clip holds the glass firmly enough to secure it while still allowing the glass to move enough to be adjusted. Most of all, the tool provides consistent professional results and makes the technician look professional in front of your customers. 

The Whitlock clip is made on our own 3D printers right here in California. There are three variations: one for 3/8” glass, one for 1/2” glass, and that steps down from 1/2” to 3/8”. This allows to hold a 3/8” door and a 1/2” fixed panel in  alignment while the hinges are attached. The Whitlock 90 is the newest variant and allows you to line up a taller fixed panel with a shorter door.
